Elvir Klempic

Elvir Klempic is President Biden’s primary liaison to the Muslim community and Director for Partnerships and Global Engagement at the National Security Council. In the Biden Administration, Elvir previously served as White House Liaison at USAID, where he focused on overseeing political appointments at USAID. Prior to USAID, Elvir served as Senior Associate Director in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel and has also served as Special Assistant in the Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. Prior to the Biden Administration, Elvir was the National Director for Affinity & Ethnic Engagement for the Biden for President campaign. Elvir graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Political Science and International Studies.
