Sara Solomon serves as Special Assistant to the Senior Advisor to the President and Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Sara first joined the Biden-Harris Transition in Fall 2021 as a vetting researcher and subsequently served in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel in the same role. Most recently, Sara worked on the White House Communications Team as a research associate. Additionally, Sara interned at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in the Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection.

As a proud New Yorker, Sara served as a member of Manhattan’s Community Board 8 where she co-chaired the Board’s Youth, Education, and Libraries Committee. Sara has also served as a legislative intern for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer and U.S. Senator Michael Bennet as well as a United States Senate Page. Further, Sara has been engaged in work on the Commission on the Future of the New York’s Economy as well as at Bloomberg Philanthropies’ What Works Cities. Sara graduated from Harvard College where she earned her B.A. in Government with a Secondary in Educational Studies.
