Readout of Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer’s Meeting with Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Secretary Jan Adams

Principal Deputy National Security Advisor (PDNSA) Jon Finer met yesterday with Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Secretary Jan Adams. PDNSA Finer and Secretary Adams discussed our strong bilateral cooperation across the Indo-Pacific region, including with partners in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, as well as globally. PDNSA Finer and Secretary Adams also welcomed the successful Australia – U.S. Ministerial Consultations that took place August 6 in Annapolis, Maryland, and reaffirmed support for further advancing the U.S.-Australia Alliance.
